Freshman Hill

Freshman Hill is a location on the eastern side of the campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, due southeast of the Rensselaer Union and roughly bounded by Griswold Road, Burdett Avenue, and Sage Avenue. It includes Commons Dinng Hall at its center, surrounded by 10 residential halls primarily used by first-year students; the Freshman Five, Barton Hall, Warren Hall, Nugent Hall, Sharp Hall, and Davidson Hall.

Freshman Hill is an important center for the freshman class, with easy access to the Union, the Mueller Center, and the academic side of campus.
