The Rensselaer Union undergraduate Council (UC), is the primary undergraduate advocacy branch of the Rensselaer Union, primarily responsible for programming and event-planning. It oversees the four undergraduate Class Councils and approves their spending, as well as conducting spending and hosting events of its own. The UC's voting membership is made up of the President and Vice President of each of the Class Councils. The UC was formed in the 1970 Union Constitution, and is the undergraduate counterpart to the Graduate Council, although in practice the two councils' operations and activities vary greatly.
